Special Education Teacher for grades 5-12 at Uncommon Schools. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- MA special education license OR Special education license or equivalent issued by another state OR Documented completion of approved undergraduate or graduate program in special education
- Pass state teacher certification tests to meet MA state requirements before start (MTELs)
- MTELs: Communications and Literacy Skills test, MTEL subject area tests (English or Mathematics)
- SEI endorsement
- Possession of, or eligibility for, appropriate MA special education licensure
- Qualified to teach independently if holding the above qualifications; otherwise under supervision
