Job Summary

The Multilingual Learner (MLL) Teacher will provide instruction for MLL students at Roxbury Prep, collaborating with the Individual Needs Coordinator, Director, and other educators across the network. Responsibilities include co-teaching with English and/or History, supporting SEI strategies, completing case management and MLL compliance tasks, attending IEP meetings, creating a positive, structured learning environment, implementing and assessing curricula to meet academic and language acquisition standards, using data to refine instruction, participating in curriculum development, reinforcing classroom expectations, sharing responsibility for grade-level and school-wide activities, maintaining resilience, and engaging families. The role requires effective communication with students, families, and colleagues; ongoing professional growth; and participation in a three-week staff orientation and training. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor's degree, a track record of high achievement, ESL/ELL/TBE licensure requirements for ESL roles, and state licensure where applicable.
