Job Summary
Multilingual Learner (MLL) Teacher will help provide and guide instruction for MLL students at Roxbury Prep, co-teaching with English and/or History teachers, providing support and feedback on SEI strategies, completing MLL compliance tasks, attending IEP meetings, and using data to refine curricula and instructional practices. Responsibilities include creating a positive learning environment, implementing language acquisition standards, designing assessments, engaging families, participating in department and staff meetings, and pursuing continual professional growth. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), at least two years of urban teaching experience preferred, and ESL license/endorsement as applicable. Compensation ranges from $71,000 to $116,000 with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Master’s degree is preferred
- Minimum of two years teaching experience in an urban public school or charter school setting preferred
- ESL license prior to first day of employment for ESL teachers
- ESL/ELL/TBE endorsement for ESL teachers
