Provide direct and indirect patient care in the ICU/Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Administer safe, accurate, and timely medications and IVs while educating patients and families on their care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to deliver age-appropriate care and maintain a therapeutic environment. Ensure complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information. Adhere to hospital standards for policies, procedures, and nursing care while taking initiative for professional growth. Work a 12X3 night shift (7p-7a) at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, a Magnet-designated hospital serving North Texas.
