Job Summary
Conduct clinical rotations covering inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and multidisciplinary specialty clinics comprising at least 70% of the fellowship, while engaging in up to 30% research tailored to individual interests. Attend case conferences, participate in treatment discussions, and deliver clinical and research presentations at internal conferences and retreats. Complete educational didactics on rotating topics including hemoglobin electrophoresis interpretation, neuropsychology, pain management, palliative care, and integrative health. Submit a CV, personal statement, and three references for application review.
Required Qualifications
- completed their residency training in pediatrics, internal medicine, or family medicine
- show a strong interest in pediatric hematology/oncology
- Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location
- working remote is not an option
Desired Qualifications
- completed a fellowship in pediatric or adult hematology/oncology
- have a research question in mind including a hypothesis, study aims and specifics of the study population at the time of application
