Job Summary
This is an entry-level position for a 4th Shift Machine Operator requiring job rotation using various machines including CNC machining centers and assembly processes. Responsibilities include loading and removing parts from machines, inspecting for quality defects, operating grinding equipment, and maintaining a clean workspace.
Required Qualifications
- Production experience a plus
- Some computer skills needed
- Attention to detail and organizational skills needed
- Must be able to handle repetitive motion of placing metal castings into a fixture and then removing it
- Must be able to operate small handheld tools on a regular basis
- Must be able to visually inspect machined parts
- Must be available to work overtime hours on a shift or mandatory Saturday overtime
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift as much as 50 lbs. several times a day
- Must be able to stand for the vast majority of the shift
- Must be able to perform manual work in a non-climate-controlled factory setting
