Job Summary
Facilitate learning of curriculum and life skills by planning daily instruction, developing lesson plans, and designing assessment tools; provide instruction to assigned students, move between classrooms and instructional spaces as needed; maintain safe learning environments; design and deliver instruction with differentiation and acceleration to meet diverse learners; engage students with meaningful learning experiences, use formative and summative assessments, provide timely feedback to students and parents, and adjust instruction accordingly; participate in Professional Learning Communities to analyze student learning and improve instructional practice; stay current with disciplinary knowledge and integrate technology; communicate with parents and administrators regarding student performance; uphold high standards, manage classroom behavior, and contribute to school-wide activities and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Missouri Elementary 1-6 certification
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with emphasis in an educational subject area
- Valid Missouri professional teaching certificate in the grade level range and subject area assigned
- Knowledge of the implementation of relevant technology
- Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this position to ensure continuity of learning
