Job Summary
4th Grade Teacher responsible for delivering standards-based instruction, developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with district curriculum, assessing student learning and utilizing accommodations for diverse learning styles, collaborating with special education staff on IEPs, engaging in parent and staff communications, managing classroom behavior, integrating technology into instruction, supporting extracurricular activities, and participating in professional development to meet district and state requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned
- ESL certification required within 60 days of hire
- At least one year of student teaching or approved internship
