Job Summary
4th Grade Teacher responsible for delivering district-approved elementary curriculum, planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and supporting individual and small-group instruction. Responsibilities include developing and administering curriculum aligned with district goals, maintaining accurate records and reporting, fostering a safe learning environment, communicating with parents, collaborating with colleagues, administering standardized tests, and performing related tasks as assigned. Must hold SC Elementary Teacher certification and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education; a Master’s Degree is preferred. Strong knowledge of current teaching methods, differentiated instruction for diverse learners, and ability to engage students in standard-based instruction are essential. Proficiency with data-informed planning, classroom management, and professional development activities is expected.
