Job Summary
Conduct daily instruction for kindergarten through third-grade students, delivering lessons aligned with state standards while integrating dyslexia-specific pedagogy. Provide targeted support to learners with reading challenges by implementing strategies outlined in the Ohio Dyslexia Guidebook. Complete required 18 hours of professional development to maintain licensure and compliance with Dyslexia Support Laws. Preference is given to internal applicants under the YEA bargaining unit agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure Area Required - Early Childhood P-3 with 4/5 Endorsement, Primary P-5, Elementary 1-8, Elementary K-8 and MS P-8
- Professional development on identifying characteristics of dyslexia and understanding pedagogy for instruction of students with dyslexia
- 18 hours of professional development aligned with the Ohio Dyslexia Guidebook
