Job Summary
Conduct daily instruction for kindergarten through third-grade students while adhering to Dyslexia Support Laws requiring 18 hours of professional development on identifying characteristics and pedagogy for students with dyslexia. Complete licensure requirements in Early Childhood P-3 with a 4/5 Endorsement, Primary P-5, Elementary 1-8, or Elementary K-8. Internal applicants receive initial preference per the YEA bargaining unit agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure Area Required - Early Childhood P-3 with 4/5 Endorsement, Primary P-5, Elementary 1-8, Elementary K-8 and MS P-8
- Professional development on identifying characteristics of dyslexia and understanding pedagogy for instruction of students with dyslexia
- 18 hours of professional development aligned with the Ohio Dyslexia Guidebook
