4th Grade ESL Teacher at Irving Independent School District. Develop and implement curriculum for core subject areas with emphasis on ESL instruction; plan instructional activities, use data to tailor lessons, collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs, and plan activities that support bilingual/ ESL learners. Manage the classroom, integrate technology to enhance learning, communicate with students and families, and participate in district/professional development to improve teaching practices. The role requires creating a positive classroom environment, using formative and summative assessments to monitor student growth, and supporting extracurricular activities as assigned. In-person position with routine responsibilities aligned to district policy and ADA compliance.
