Job Summary
4th grade ELA Teacher at IDEA Rise Academy responsible for delivering rigorous instruction aligned to state standards and IDEA curricula; plans and delivers lessons, assesses student mastery, analyzes data to intervene, communicates weekly progress to families, and fosters a positive classroom culture. Requires teaching certification and a Bachelor’s Degree; candidates should demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to manage behavior, and ability to collaborate with families and colleagues. Role includes after-school tutoring or Saturday school as needed; anticipated 40+ hours on-site per week with potential relocation support if applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution (required)
- Teaching certification
- Experience in a K-12 classroom setting (strongly preferred)
- Licenses or Certifications: Teachers of record for students in K-3 must possess appropriate Reading Academies certification or willingness to obtain TX training within required timelines
- Bilingual certification strongly preferred, ESL certification preferred (not required)
