4th/5th Math/Science Teacher - SY 26-27

ACCEL Schools seeks a highly qualified 4th/5th Grade Math/Science Teacher at Montgomery Preparatory Academy in Dayton, Ohio. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lesson plans, differentiating instruction, maintaining accurate records of students’ progress, utilizing research-based best practices, managing classroom behavior, creating a positive learning environment, using school-approved curricula that reflect diverse backgrounds, implementing school-wide culture expectations, communicating with families regarding academic and social-emotional growth, incorporating technology into daily practice, participating in planning and implementation of non-instructional activities, collaborating with colleagues, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires active Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area and a Bachelor’s degree in education or related field; strong written and verbal communication; ability to pass background checks; experience in urban environments.
