Job Summary
Telemetry Nursing Assistant assists RN with daily patient care including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation; measures and documents vital signs and I&O, documents in EMR, performs rounding under RN supervision, participates in admission/transfer/discharge processes, collects urine/stool/sputum specimens and labels properly, maintains nursing area stock and equipment, handles transportation and environmental tasks, and adheres to infection prevention standards. Requires BLS and Nurse Aide certification; education must include GED/HSED/HS diploma. Schedule is full-time with 7a-7p shifts; requires ability to lift and move patients and to work within healthcare privacy and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) certification
- Nurse Aide in good standing with State Registry
- GED or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) or High School Diploma
