Job Summary
Greet guests authentically, observe their needs, and tailor your approach to solve issues while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Execute detailed, accurate sorting operations including all unload schedules, then stock, backstock, and zone product on the sales floor to ensure instocks for General Merchandise categories. Operate power equipment only if certified, manage defectives and environmentally sensitive items in compliance with laws, and support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and drive-up duties. Maintain safety compliance, identify hazards, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while handling merchandise up to 44 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays)
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Capability to work in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties
- Capability to climb up and down ladders
- Capability to scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store
- Experience in retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement
- Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals
- Working in a fun and fast paced environment makes you excited

- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and follow a multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
