Job Summary
Greet guests authentically, observe their needs, and engage with genuine questions to tailor your approach before thanking them for choosing Target. Execute detailed, accurate sorting operations by unloading schedules, stocking, backstocking, and maintaining sales floor instocks for General Merchandise categories. Operate power equipment only if certified, manage defectives and environmentally sensitive items in compliance with laws, and support guest services including back-up cashier, order pick-up, and drive-up duties while adhering to adult beverage regulations. Work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment, lifting merchandise up to 44 pounds, communicating on multiple frequency devices, and maintaining a culture of safety and ethical conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays)
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Capability to work in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
- Capability to climb up and down ladders
- Capability to scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds

- Attention to detail and follow a multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
