Job Summary
Sort, stock, and organize reserve product and straighten merchandise on the sales floor to maintain product availability for General Merchandise categories. Greet guests within 10 feet, resolve issues, and end transactions with a sincere thank you while supporting team efforts and assisting peers. Operate powered equipment as necessary to unload freight or move merchandise, process defective items, and handle environmentally sensitive materials in compliance with laws. Perform back-up cashier, order pick-up, and drive-up duties while adhering to federal, state, and local adult beverage laws. Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays, lifting up to 44 pounds and communicating via handheld scanners.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Work both independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting, carrying, and moving merchandise up to 44 pounds throughout the duration of a shift without additional assistance from others
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks
