Job Summary
Greet guests within 10 feet, resolve shopping issues, and end transactions with a sincere thank you. Execute detailed sorting operations by stocking, organizing reserve product, and straightening merchandise on the sales floor. Operate powered equipment to unload freight or move goods if certified, while processing defective items and handling environmentally sensitive products. Provide guest services including back-up cashier, order pickup, and drive-up duties. Maintain product availability for general merchandise categories and comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training. Work in a fast-paced environment lifting up to 44 pounds, handling cash registers as needed, and adhering to adult beverage laws.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Work both independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting, carrying, and moving merchandise up to 44 pounds throughout the duration of a shift without additional assistance from others
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks
