Job Summary
Greet guests within 10 feet, resolve shopping issues, and end every transaction with a sincere thank you. Execute a detailed, accurate sorting operation by stocking, organizing reserve product, and straightening merchandise on the sales floor. Process defective items and handle environmentally sensitive goods in compliance with applicable laws. Operate powered equipment as necessary while unloading freight or moving merchandise, including lifting up to 44 pounds. Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up, and drive-up duties while maintaining safety and compliance. Work in a fast-moving environment requiring flexibility for varying hours, days, or shifts including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Work both independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting, carrying, and moving merchandise up to 44 pounds throughout the duration of a shift without additional assistance from others
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays); come to work when scheduled, work scheduled shifts and take required meal and rest breaks
