Job Summary
The 49er Discipleship Program Mentor is responsible for managing the discipleship program for minor staff aged 16-17, focusing on developing their spiritual disciplines and identity in Christ. Key responsibilities include teaching discipleship classes, coordinating daily chapels, supervising off-site classes and field trips, evaluating the program participants, and supporting the overall camp program. Candidates must be able to lift 25 pounds, and the role requires frequent outdoor work regardless of weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must possess a valid CA Driver License
- Complete TSA driver safety course
Additional Requirements
- Employee must acknowledge The Salvation Army’s religious purpose and status as a church
- Work-related conduct must not conflict with The Army’s religious programs
