Job Summary
Provide psychological services to patients, residents, students, and inmates, including conducting evaluations, administering tests, and developing treatment plans. Deliver individual and group counseling for issues such as trauma, substance abuse, and suicide risk, while diffusing conflicts and modeling positive behaviors. Perform forensic assessments for defendants regarding mental status, competency to stand trial, and sanity, then testify in court as an expert witness. Coordinate services between institutional mental health and community providers, manage re-entry accountability plans, and conduct home visits for parolees. Recommend policies for assessment and treatment, prepare statistical reports on behavioral progress, and act as a liaison for offenders with treatment teams and parole boards.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral/Professional Degree in Psychology
- Psychologist board certified or board eligible
- State of Ohio licensure
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English
