Job Summary
Provide patients with individual and group psychotherapy as assigned. Deliver clinical psychology services including psychological assessment, testing, consultation, and treatment within the unit or treatment mall. Perform risk assessments and complete evaluations with specified deadlines, documenting baseline psychological testing and addressing personality, intellectual, and cognitive impairments. Consult with treatment care staff and attend clinical management meetings to address service delivery issues. Meet with patients to implement treatments, monitor progress, and adjust care plans as needed. Conduct CSSRS Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale assessments on admissions, transfers, and as required per OSH policies. Maintain accurate data entry in electronic systems while adhering to Board licensing requirements and two years of experience in substance abuse or community mental health settings.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Board Licensed Psychologist or Waiver eligible
- Minimum two years of experience in a substance abuse treatment or community mental health setting
- Experience with mental health assessment and diagnosis
- Experience establishing supportive relationships and working with clients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- Experience working successfully with issues of substance abuse, mental health, criminal background, and other potential barriers to economic self-sufficiency
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word Outlook and internet applications
- Knowledge of Clinical documentation (treatment plans, progress notes etc.)
- Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data
