Job Summary
Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on autonomous fleet vehicles for safe on-road usage; may travel locally to perform the work; coordinate with the Shop Foreman to keep vehicles ready for demonstration/testing; perform diagnostics and escalate as needed; drive repair processes; create diagnostic test plans; maintain service records; manage shop facilities and tools; assist with parts inventory; build a strong service experience for internal teams and business partners.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of automotive technician experience
- Extensive knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair methods, tools, and materials
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug screen
- Forklift operator certification compliant with Cal/OSHA standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work 8+ hours
- Ability to travel locally and nationally (on occasion)
