Job Summary
Licensed Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright needed for a growing manufacturing facility in Mississauga, ON. Responsibilities include responding to daily equipment breakdowns, installing/upgrading/maintaining equipment (conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, sub-floor lines, foam lines, CNC routers), conducting routine checks, troubleshooting mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic/motion-related problems, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Must read manuals/blueprints, perform fabrication/welding, understand hydraulics/pneumatics and electromechanical systems, and communicate effectively with the Maintenance Manager and team. 5+ years of manufacturing experience and a 433A Millwright license are required. Rotating Day/Afternoon shifts; full-time permanent role. On-site work in Mississauga, Ontario. Required Qualifications
- 433A Millwright license
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in plant/ manufacturing environments
- Ability to read manuals and blueprints
- Strong troubleshooting in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and motion-related systems
- Fabrication/welding, installation, basic machining
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics; electromechanical systems knowledge is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Shift flexibility and ability to work day/afternoon rotating shifts
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move objects; comfortable in a manufacturing setting
