4201 Local Truck Driver-Night Shift

Job Summary
Operate tractor/trailer units to transport finished goods, packaging materials, and pallets between the production facility, distribution center, and outside warehouses. Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, move product to various locations, and stack material. Before operating, check tractor and trailer for safe conditions, inform supervisors of maintenance issues, and spot delivery trailers while chocking wheels. Complete required paperwork and keep vehicles neat and clean. Follow safety rules and company policies. Participate in training, meetings, and project teams as appropriate. Perform other work as directed by supervisor. Requires current Commercial Driver's License, DOT approval, and forklift certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school plus additional training
- Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fractions
- Ability to speak, read and write in English
- Current Commercial Driver's License
- DOT approved
- Certified forklift operator
- Visual acuity to operate motor vehicles
- Eye/hand/foot coordination to operate forklift
- Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles
- Ability to reach in any direction
- Ability to lift objects
- Ability to grasp objects with fingers and palm
- Ability to talk and exchange ideas by spoken word
- Ability to hear sounds at normal speaking levels
- Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to exert up to 10 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to exert negligible amount of force constantly
