Job Summary
Lead Program Counselor (DSP) in New Haven, CT, supporting individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home; responsibilities include assisting with daily living skills, supporting medical needs and appointments, following individualized support and behavior plans, encouraging community involvement and social engagement, completing routine overnight safety checks, and collaborating with a compassionate team. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, CT driver’s license, ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid, and 1 year of residential experience.
Required Qualifications

- Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
- Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid
- 1-year of residential experience
- $19.59 – $20.04 per hour
- Additional $0.50 per hour with DDS Medication Certification
- Certification can be obtained after hire if not already certified
- Schedule
- Tuesday – Friday 12:00p – 8:00p, Sa 8:00a-4:00p (40 FT)
