Job Summary
Advocate for and support adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities by assisting with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, personal care, and medical appointments. Administer medications, follow Behavior Support Plans and Individual Support Plans, and facilitate community outings and banking tasks. Safely evacuate individuals from the home in emergencies while maintaining certifications and complying with DDS regulations. Work Wednesdays through Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., with Thursdays starting at 9 a.m., in a full-time 40-hour role. Receive paid training in CPR, first aid, and medication administration, plus a sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives
- Varied interests and personal connections in the local community
- Proven record of conscientious, responsible behavior (work, volunteer or school history)
- Ability to work as a creative, engaged, dedicated member of the team
- Must be 21+
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- High School Diploma or GED
- Employees must possess the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above

- Employee must be able to speak, read, and write in fluent English
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the program and individuals supported
- This may include holidays, overnights, or double shifts
