Job Summary
Inspect equipment for signs of wear, perform basic maintenance, and clean work areas. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions while ensuring materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements. Participate in safety programs and trainings to promote the Guardian Angel culture, notifying supervisors of needed repairs and performing duties with minimal supervision. Operate heavy equipment safely within the plant at the underground mine in Randolph, Missouri. Maintain a 4-on-4-off schedule from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, 40+ hours per week. A valid US driver's license and one year of related experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid US driver's license
- 1 + year related experience
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations
- Effective verbal communication
- Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round
- General physical activities including climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reach with hands and arms, and handling materials
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to perform duties with minimum supervision
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment
- Must be able to maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Must be able to ensure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements
- Must be able to assist in plant maintenance and repairs
- Must be able to inspect equipment for signs of wear
- Must be able to perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
- Must be able to participate in safety programs and trainings
- Must be able to operate machinery safely
