Job Summary
Conduct heavy equipment operations within the plant, maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions while ensuring materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements. Inspect equipment for signs of wear, perform basic maintenance, and notify supervisors of needed repairs. Clean work areas and participate in safety programs promoting the Guardian Angel culture. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and work in a team environment with minimal supervision. Perform duties with full-time hours of 40+ weeks per week.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid US driver's license
- 1 + year related experience
- Heavy equipment operations or military experience
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations
- Effective verbal communication
- Knowledge of machines and tools including their design, use and maintenance
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment year-round
- General physical activities including climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, reach with hands and arms, and handling materials
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment
- Must be able to work in an underground mine operations environment
- Must be able to work 40+ hours per week
