Job Summary
Program Manager for Merrimack County 4-H, coordinating and supporting 4-H volunteers across clubs and events, developing youth development pathways in STEM/agriscience, civic engagement, and healthy living; responsibilities include volunteer recruitment/training, risk management, program planning, collaboration with state team, reporting, and professional development; requires bachelor’s or master’s degree and 2+ years relevant experience, NH driver’s license, willingness to travel, and availability for night/weekend events; compensation $50,020–$78,810 with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as education or human services, and at least two years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Valid N.H. driver’s license or other effective personal transportation means
- Professional or volunteer experience in work related to administering educational or community-based youth development programs
- Effective human relations and communication skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to reflect thoughtfully on personal bias to be welcoming to all potential participants and volunteers
- Availability to work nights and weekends
- Valid driver’s license or other effective personal transportation means and willing to travel for work. Mileage will be reimbursed at the current federal rate.
