Job Summary
Maintain 4-H clubs by attending meetings, recruiting volunteer leaders, and growing community enrollment. Plan, organize, and conduct all county 4-H events, competitions, and activities, including setup and cleanup. Coordinate educational programs in schools and the community while evaluating program impact. Submit accurate records and reports by deadlines and communicate program goals to youth, parents, and adult leaders via social media and newsletters. Work without close supervision under the guidance of a county agent.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation for use on the job with liability insurance in effect
- Ability to conduct programs and work with all clientele regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, disability, marital or veteran status, or any other legally protected status
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to keep accurate records and submit timely reports of activities
- Ability to respond positively to supervisor direction
- Ability to work without close daily supervision
- Must successfully complete the standard background check which includes the Arkansas Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Check
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
