Job Summary
Prepare and deliver differentiated lesson plans in 4th/5th grade ELA and Social Studies using school-approved curricula that reflect diverse backgrounds. Modify instruction daily to meet individual student needs while maintaining accurate records of progress and development. Manage classroom behavior and create a positive environment focused on social-emotional growth, incorporating technology skills into daily practice. Communicate regularly with families regarding academic and social-emotional progress and collaborate effectively with colleagues. Participate in non-instructional activities as needed and perform other duties as assigned. This role requires an active Ohio teaching license and experience in urban settings.
Required Qualifications
- Active and current state of Ohio teaching license in appropriate content area
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks
- Experience working within an urban environment

- High level of comfort working in a growth-focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
