Job Summary
Operate and monitor advanced production equipment used in clean metals processing, performing in-process checks and adjustments to ensure consistent product quality. Collect, analyze, and report production data to support process improvements while conducting equipment startups, shutdowns, and transitions between production runs. Perform basic mechanical and operational troubleshooting on production systems and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and uptime. Work closely with shift leads and operators to uphold safety protocols and support new process development on the floor. This hands-on role is ideal for recent graduates passionate about manufacturing who will be embedded in the daily operations of our rare earth metal refining facility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in operating and understanding industrial equipment
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and quickly adapt to new systems and processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic production setting
