Job Summary
3rd Shift Welder responsible for MIG and TIG welding to assemble metal components per blueprints and work orders. Read engineering drawings, prepare materials, perform in-process visual inspection of welds, operate and maintain welding equipment, and maintain a clean, safe 5S workspace. Requires 1+ year welding experience, MIG proficiency (TIG/Flux-Cored a plus), and welding certification (AWS) preferred. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and adhere to CDI values: FAST, FUN, EASY, COMMUNITY, GROWTH.
Required Qualifications
- Current or previous welding certification (e.g., AWS) is highly preferred
- Proven experience (1+ year preferred) as a Welder in a manufacturing or production environment
- Proficiency in MIG welding is required; knowledge of TIG or Flux-Cored is a plus
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, symbols, and basic weld procedures
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on occasion
