3rd Shift - Wax Technician

Job Summary
Independently operate and manage the day-to-day activities of the wax department, including setting up injection tooling, performing pattern wax changeovers, and preparing wax molds for shelling operations. Review weekly production schedules to level-load wax presses and ensure production meets quality and delivery targets. Perform mold assembly, inspect patterns for defects, and assist with developing standard operating procedures and identifying process improvements. Complete ERP transactions and documentation as required, while collaborating with the 1st shift team to implement best practices. Work under the direction of the Investment Supervisor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Thorough understanding of the investment casting / lost wax process
- Strong sense of urgency with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
- 3+ years of experience in investment casting wax injection and wax assembly
