Job Summary
Direct hourly associates in receiving, storage, shipping, and tracking of products while ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory policies. Conduct daily inventory counts in both dry and perishable warehouses, adjust balances, and monitor order production procedures. Provide orientation and training for new associates, observe work methods and performance, and deliver feedback on productivity and attitude. Maintain documentation for attendance, safety incidents, and productivity, and communicate individual and shift performance metrics to drive incentive achievement. Ensure office areas remain secure and orderly while enforcing consistent application of all company rules.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, squat, turn, reach, pull, push, balance and lift objects up to 85 pounds, in a fast-paced environment for extended period of time
- Must be able to transport various objects weighing 20-85 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift
- Must be able to stand, walk and move about for extended periods of time
- Must be able to stand and balance throughout the shift while operating industrial equipment
- Requires the ability to push, pull, grasp, twist and use sawing motions for extended periods of time
- Regularly works in warehouse environment with heat and cold, including freezers, coolers, and refrigerators in temperatures as low as -15 degrees Fahrenheit
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Two years in supervisory capacity; three years related to a production environment
- Previous experience in food distribution production environment preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a multitask environment
