Job Summary
Operate stand-up forklifts and other warehouse equipment to safely receive, unload, and store incoming cheese products. Verify finished goods, organize inventory, and accurately pick and stage orders for shipment. Load trucks, ensure proper order rotation, and complete all shipping paperwork while interacting professionally with drivers. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment with dependable attendance. Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read safety procedures, and work independently in a cool, climate-controlled setting. Wage increases at 90 days and one year.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to learn and safely operate forklifts
- Ability to lift and stack up to 50 lbs., including overhead
- Comfortable working in cool warehouse temperatures
- Ability to read and follow safety procedures
- Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset
- Dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently and stay productive with minimal supervision
- Required PPE includes safety glasses and steel-toed shoes
- Offers of employment are subject to passing a post-offer physical and drug screening
