Job Summary
Lead and prioritize Operation Associates daily responsibilities ensuring all operational goals are achieved for output, quality, safety, housekeeping and communications. Direct responsibilities for Operations Associate performance, training, and adherence to company policies. The role is a working leader across Cutting, Assembly, Inspection and Oven/Activation, with flexibility to fill in on other equipment. Ensures adherence to SOPs, PPE usage, and safety risk assessments; maintains quality standards; trains and evaluates associates; supports Pay for Performance certifications; coordinates with plant maintenance for repairs; ensures housekeeping and contamination standards; assigns and directs associates to meet production targets; monitors incoming materials and equipment; facilitates departmental shift meetings; exercises judgment on breaks and daily assignments; ensures accurate record-keeping; assists startup of new equipment and processes; and enforces policy with disciplinary actions when necessary. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, computer skills, strong leadership and communication skills, and willingness to gain certifications in the lead department.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (post-secondary education preferred)
- Must have a good understanding of computers and Microsoft products.
- Must have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, and excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities, and self-motivated/self-starter.
- Expected to gain experience and complete certifications in lead department as necessary
