3rd Shift Supervisor - Plastic Blow Molding

Job Summary
Supervise blow molding shift operations to assure production schedules, quality specifications, and safety standards are met. Administer company policies, supervise machine operators, and perform troubleshooting to adjust machines or modify schedules for quality issues. Conduct daily shift meetings, audit QC logs, and develop training sessions for employees on color changes and machine operations. Coordinate personnel and materials, approve overtime, and prepare quarterly safety progress reports. Perform material handling, lock out/tag out procedures, and conserve resources by controlling equipment usage. Maintain communication with management and services while ensuring ISO compliance and SPC system utilization.
Required Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience
- Excellent identification and problem solving skills as it relates to people, equipment, material and quality
- Able to read blueprints, QC instruments and specifications along with basic math
- Perform trouble shooting technical skills
- High School Diploma
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work affectivity under pressure
- Flexible hours and overtime required and available for weekend on call
- Knowledge and experience of plastic processing required
- Certified in CPR, first aid, blood borne pathogens, and AED
- Ability to operate forklift safely and efficiently (license required)
- Full understanding of proper lock out/tag out procedures
- Must wear/use and maintain assigned personal protective equipment (hearing protection, safety glasses, etc.) and work tools
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and maneuver up to 75 pounds infrequently
- Extended standing and able to work at various heights. Climb ladders. Work overhead
- Sunday night-Thursday night 10pm-6:30am
- Flexible hours and overtime required and available for weekend on call
