Job Summary
Manage and direct all manufacturing functions on your assigned shift, coordinating production goals and reviewing schedules to maximize throughput. Establish performance targets, chair cross-functional meetings, and lead staff operations discussions to ensure accountability and motivate teams toward peak productivity. Analyze production reports, work with HR on staffing, and provide mentorship and leadership to direct reports while conducting performance reviews. Maintain a safe, clean facility and comply with all safety policies. Participate in special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, management or related field
- Strong manufacturing background
- automotive industry experience
- Supervisory experience
- Excellent communication skills – writing, speaking, listening, and observing
- Ability to understand goals and objectives and convert them into action plans, tasks, initiatives, and activities that ensure success
- The ability to take initiative, to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment
- Strong analytical skills, ability to gather, interpret and analyze information, and provide clear direction
- PC-based computing experience word processing-Word, spreadsheet-Excel, presentation- PowerPoint, Plex
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, management or related field preferred
- Strong manufacturing background – automotive industry experience preferred
