3rd Shift Security Officer

Provide security detail per post orders and establish working relationships with customers, local law enforcement and fire departments. Maintain a professional image and excellent customer service while controlling entrances and movement of pedestrian and vehicle traffic, patrolling buildings and perimeters, escorting material and personnel, inspecting security and fire exposures, and completing special assignments. Be on time, greet customers politely, stay informed of post orders, monitor security systems, generate Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports, and communicate issues to Security Supervisors. Must be honest, vigilant, able to work in a team, and capable of handling multiple priorities with a sense of urgency. The role may vary by department size and location, with duties subject to post orders and company discretion. Duties include maintaining knowledge of life safety systems and ensuring safe operation of elevators and access doors, plus adherence to training and compliance guidelines.
