Job Summary
3rd Shift Quality Assurance Technician responsible for inspections and tests of raw materials, components, and finished products to verify specifications; maintain records; identify defects; collaborate with production and engineering to implement corrective actions; support continuous improvement; ensure ISO 9001 compliance; calibrate and maintain test equipment; train and guide production staff; participate in audits; strong attention to detail, data recording, teamwork; 8–12 hour shifts with potential weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience with coating paper and film products preferred.
- Strong ability to read, understand, and follow production specifications and work instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data recording skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in a collaborative team environment.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, especially during shift transitions and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and work flexible schedules, including 8–12 hour shifts and occasional weekends.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including prolonged standing, walking, repetitive motions, and coordinated hand/eye/foot movements.
