Job Summary
Lead overnight operations for the slice department, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production through active floor presence and enforcement of safety policies and GMPs. Supervise and coach production employees and Team Leads, managing staffing, line coverage, and daily labor allocation while driving performance in safety, quality, throughput, and waste reduction. Serve as the primary on-shift decision-maker with autonomy to resolve issues, coordinate with Maintenance and Quality, and ensure accurate production reporting. Manage end-of-week sanitation and verify cleaning readiness for startup, partnering with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and standard work. Full-time 3rd shift (9:00pm–5:00am, Mon–Fri, some Saturdays) with a $6,000 annual premium; located in Green Bay, WI.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3–5+ years of manufacturing experience
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of GMPs
- Working knowledge of food safety programs (HACCP or Preventive Controls)
- Working knowledge of sanitation practices
- Ability to lead, coach, and develop employees
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to make independent decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
