Job Summary
Conduct daily production supervision by scheduling personnel, maintaining attendance records, and leading weekly shift meetings to ensure team alignment. Perform floor walks to monitor presses, verify setup documents, and visually inspect parts for defects while enforcing MME Group quality standards. Operate forklifts and overhead cranes during mold setup, troubleshoot post-molding equipment, and document process changes to achieve daily MME KPI targets. Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to foster teamwork and champion continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid identification and authorization to work in the United States
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing, including at least 1 year in a quality inspection role
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to read and comprehend production instructions, policies, safety procedures, and business communications
- Intermediate math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, and use of decimals in various units of measure
- Ability to accurately record production data and inspect product quality visually
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with team members at all levels
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs unassisted
- Must be able to walk, climb stairs, stand, bend, and stoop as required within office and shop environments
Desired Qualifications
- Participation in major company projects involving creative problem-solving (e.g., productivity improvements, customer tour enhancements, facility renovations, program/talent transfers)
- Familiarity with Epicor ERP system
