Job Summary
Production Supervisor for 3rd shift overseeing all production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality garage door parts and assemblies. Leads, coaches, and develops the production team, coordinates with maintenance, quality, shipping, and management to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives; monitors labor utilization, prepares shift-start goals, ensures adherence to SOPs and work instructions; drives continuous improvement, manages downtime, scrap, and efficiency metrics, and sustains a strong safety culture. The role emphasizes supervision, coaching, and accountability across production, quality, and maintenance functions, with responsibilities including shift handoffs, reporting, and maintaining accurate labor and production records.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience required
- 1-3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
- Experience in metal fabrication, roll forming, stamping, assembly, or related manufacturing environments preferred
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong leadership and employee development skills; Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production scheduling; Ability to interpret production reports and performance metrics; Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements and manufacturing best practices
