3rd Shift Production Supervisor (in S. WI)

Plan, organize, and control department processes in accordance with schedules and company procedures. Supervise approximately five hourly employees, developing, training, and motivating them to maximize efficiency, productivity, and morale. Anticipate delays regarding equipment repairs, product mix, material shortages, and schedule changes, then devise procedures to minimize loss of man-hours. Attend required meetings to ensure open communication with other departments on safety, quality, and production needs. Oversee department personnel to ensure production schedules, quality procedures, housekeeping, and safety guidelines are followed, including maintaining inventory of raw materials and supplies. Interact with other supervisors to expedite operational changes and assist in meeting cost reduction and quality improvement projects.
