Job Summary
3rd Shift Production Operator operates and maintains packaging lines with scales, manual baggers, and heat sealers; performs pre-inspections, weight checks (every 30 minutes), and visual inspections to ensure proper product quantities and bag integrity. Requires training as both hopper and sealer, and involves forklift operation. Maintains QEHS adherence (HACCP, LOTO, GMP), keeps accurate records, communicates equipment or area issues to supervisors, maintains housekeeping, and assists technicians and supervisors as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures, humidity, and noise levels, with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills in English (oral and written)
- Knowledge of industrial environments
