Job Summary
Manage inventory transactions for chemicals, fragrances, dyes, and wax components using the ERP system, including entering, verifying, and reconciling batch records to ensure traceability. Monitor the batch schedule plan, coordinate with logistics, quality, and production teams to clarify material availability and prevent workflow disruptions. Assist with inventory audits, physical counts, and year-end counts while acting as a backup batch technician when needed. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and inventory reports as directed. Work onsite from 9pm to 5am Sunday through Thursday, lifting up to 50 lbs in a production environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 12 months related experience
- 1-2 years of planning, manufacturing, inventory control, or administrative support role
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in the absence of direct supervision
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurements
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands to handle or touch; reach, talk, hear and smell
- Ability to kneel, crouch, sit, climb or balance
- Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work in a production/warehouse setting
- Ability to be exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Ability to be exposed to aromas
- Ability to be occasionally exposed to airborne particles
- Ability to be exposed to moderate noise levels
- High school diploma or GED; or 12 months related experience
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment with cross-functional coordination responsibilities
- Experience leading scheduling/planning initiatives in a production setting
- Advanced experience with IFS or similar ERP systems for inventory, batch processing, and shop/work order transactions
- Acting as a team lead, point of contact, or coordinator without formal supervisory authority
- Ability to handle multiple situations at one
- Strong accuracy and organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication
