Job Summary
Fuel aircraft and maintain proper fuel farm paperwork/quality control. Tow and marshal aircraft with extreme precision for hangar stacking. Ensure aircraft are chocked, locked, and positioned for 6:00 AM departures. Provide lavatory and potable water service, load/unload baggage, and operate ground support equipment. Assist with facility cleaning and security to ensure the terminal is ready for the morning rush. Work the 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) with a starting pay of $17.00 per hour, increasing to $18.00 after 60 days. This role offers an excellent benefits package including 401(k), medical, and dental for full-time positions.
Required Qualifications
- Must maintain a valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass FAA Drug and Alcohol testing and background checks
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality for overnight schedules
- Autonomy: Comfortable working and making decisions without direct management supervision
- Physicality: Ability to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 50 lbs
- Complete Safety Training and other job related training
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, direct interface, over telephone and in writing
- Ability to make decisions with multiple objectives and implement in a safe, efficient manner
- Follow oral and written directions; plan and complete assigned duties on a regular schedule; and maintain good working relationships with others
- Must be available to work flexible hours including overtime when required
- Ability to perform a variety of manual tasks including but not limited to: facility cleaning, vehicle washing, aircraft cleaning and vacuuming
- Ability to work without direct management supervision
- must be comfortable with working outdoors, day, night and in all weather conditions
- Stepping up/down on ladders, tugs and fuel trucks
- Lift baggage from ground level to waist and overhead while loading aircraft, up to 50lbs
- Bending and stooping to pick up tow bars and other equipment, up to 50lbs
- Stooping below wings to chock aircraft
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- High school or equivalent
- Driver's License
